Phase switch 3× 400V + N PF-431i F&F
Product description
The PF-431i True RMS automatic phase switch is used to maintain continuity of power supply to a single-phase load. In the event of a loss of the supply phase, or if it exceeds the correct voltage values, another phase with correct parameters will be directed to the output.
Operation
A three-phase voltage is applied to the input of the switch. To the output of the switch is directed the voltage from one of the phases. The electronic circuit of the switch controls the RMS voltage values of the supplied phases so that the output voltage is not less than 190 V or more than 280 V. The phase with the correct parameters is directed to the switch output. The lighting of the corresponding LED, indicates that the phase is connected to the switch output. Phase L1 is the priority phase, i.e., if its parameters are correct, this phase will always be switched on to the output. If the voltage of phase L1 drops below 190 V, disappears or rises above 280 V (the green L1 LED goes out), the electronics will switch phase L2 to the output (if its parameters are correct). In case of simultaneous absence of correct voltages in phases L1 and L2 (green LEDs L1 and L2 go out), phase L3 will be switched to the output. If the correct supply voltage in phase L1 returns (voltage in the range 190÷280 V), the system will switch on this phase to the output. The system, after connecting the supply voltage, flashes all LEDs once, which indicates the appearance of voltage on the device (but not on the output). The device then analyzes the parameters of the network and switches the appropriate phase to the output. If the N wire of the power supply is connected in the wrong place, the device, instead of switching one of the phases to the output, will signal the incorrect connection by lighting up the LEDs in the order L1, L2, L3 ("passing" LED). In such a situation, disconnect the power supply voltage from the device and connect the input wires correctly.
Note
Prolonged operation with incorrectly connected neutral wire can cause irreparable damage to the controller.
The device also monitors the voltage at the output contact, which allows you to detect the "sticking" of the contacts of the internal relay. If such a situation is detected, all 3 LEDs will flash cyclically.
Note
The protection works only in the case of switching from a lower priority phase to a higher priority phase (e.g. from L2 to L1). It does not work when switching to a phase with lower priority (e.g. from L1 to L2).
