Operation
The DRM-01microwave motion sensor emits and receives high-frequency 5.8 Ghz electromagnetic waves. The sensor detects changes in the reflection of waves caused by the movement of an object in the detection area. The sensor recognizes the movement of an object to and from the motion sensor. Movement in the detection area automatically turns on the lighting. From the moment of switching on, continuous motion causes this lighting to be permanently switched on. Only the absence of motion in the detection field triggers the lighting's holding time. The renewed movement in the detection field and its disappearance during the timer will trigger the holding time from the beginning. The nature of the operation allows the DRM to be used as a presence sensor. After the set time, the lighting will be switched off automatically. Microwave motion sensor DRM-01 is equipped with a twilight automatic, preventing the controlled lighting from being switched on during the day. The detection state and readiness to switch on the lighting are activated only after dusk. The activation time of the motion sensor can be adjusted by the user with a potentiometer. In addition, it is possible to adjust the area of the detection field within a radius of 3 ÷ 10 m (for h = 2.5 m). It is also possible to adjust the time of switching on the receiver in the range of 5 s ÷ 12 min. Activation of the receiver is signaled by the illumination of the green LED. The DRM-01 microwave motion det ector can operate indoors. The microwave motion detector allows motion detection through wood panels, plasterboard, glass and plastic.
Temperature changes do not affect motion detection.

NOTE!
The power of microwave radiation is relatively low and is completely safe for humans and animals. Its value is less than 10 mW. In comparison, a microwave oven and a cell phone radiate with a power of about 1000 mW (100 times stronger).
