Operation

The roller shuttercontroller with rainfall sensor operates in two modes:

Continuous mode
When precipitation begins, the internal relay contact closes and remains closed for the duration of the precipitation. When used in conjunction with STR-3 and STR-4 roller shutter controllers, such a mode ensures that the shutters are closed when the rain begins and locked in the closed position until the rain ends.

Impulse mode
At the onset of rainfall, the internal relay contact closes for a period of about 1.5 seconds transmitting a one-time close command to the roller shutter controllers. In combination with STR-3 and STR-4 roller shutter controllers, such a mode ensures that the shutters are closed when the rain appears, but later the user has the option to raise the shutters at any time.

Selection of the mode of operation of the roller shutter controller with rainfall sensor is carried out by means of a knob on the façade of the controller.
