Phase sequence and phase loss sensor CKF-337 F&F
Product description
Without neutral wire. 1 x NO/NC contact.
Protects against symmetrical and asymmetrical voltage drop.
The phase loss sensor is designed to protect an electric motor supplied from a three-phase network in cases of voltage loss in at least one phase, symmetrical voltage drop in three phases or voltage asymmetry between phases, threatening damage to the motor and protecting the directions of rotation in case of phase sequence change before the sensor.
Operation
A voltage drop in at least one phase of any phase or voltage asymmetry between phases above a preset threshold will shut down the motor. Motor shutdown will also occur in the event of symmetrical phase-to-phase voltage drop in all three phases below 320 V. The shutdown will occur with a user-set delay (0.2÷5 s). Reconnection will occur automatically when the asymmetry drops by 5 V below the set threshold (i.e. by the voltage hysteresis value). With the above anomalies, it is impossible to start the motor. In the event of a change in the order of phases in front of the sensor causing an undesirable change in the direction of rotation of the motor, the sensor will not allow the motor to start. Restarting is possible after the return of the correct phase order.
