For controlling a contactor-based "star"-"delta" switching system.
Operation
The controller has a special arrangement of two electromagnetic relays, which eliminates the risk of switching on two contactors simultaneously. Each relay controls the corresponding contactor. At the time of switching from the "star" to the "triangle" system, the first disconnects the "star" contactor, a forced time interval occurs, and then the second relay switches on the "triangle" contactor. When the power is switched on, the "star" contactor will be switched to position 7-9 for the set start-up time t1. The "triangle" contact remains in the 10-11 position. After the start-up time t1 has elapsed, the "star" contact will be switched to the 7-8 position (the "triangle" contact still remains in the 10-11 position) and there will be a switching break at the set time t2. After the expiration of time t2, the "triangle" contact will be switched to position 10-12 and remains in this state until the supply voltage is disconnected (the "star" contact remains in position 7-8).
Setting of start-up time and switching delay time
Time range selection knob T? set the selected time range (for the switching delay option t2=75msek on the left side of the scale, and for the switching delay option t2=100msek on the right side of the scale). Use the T× knob to set the value on the scale from 1 to 10. The product of these values is equal to the start-up time t1 (e.g., t1=1s×7=7 SEK).
