- EURA' gas alarm GD-00A2 230V/50Hz with cable
Gas Signaller ''EURA'', GD-00A2 230V/50Hz with cable
Eura is the flagship brand of Eura-Tech, which covers a very broad product spectrum. Eura products are aimed at all demanding users who want to comprehensively automate and secure their lives and property.
Eura devices have been eagerly installed in apartments or single-family homes since 2005, when they appeared on the market. The group of satisfied users has been expanding regularly for more than a decade, which motivates us to constantly improve our products and complete our portfolio. When selecting devices for the offer, we pay attention primarily to quality and functionality, so we can certify with full responsibility that all our products meet European norms and standards.
The GD-00A2 gas alarm device is used for continuous monitoring of the presence of explosive gases in the surrounding air, as well as for detecting and alerting about exceeding the maximum safe concentration of such gases. It is installed in confined spaces where there is a probability of gas leakage from the installation or equipment supplied with it. It does not require any other additional devices, power cables or batteries for proper operation. It is small in size, enclosed in a single housing.
One ~230V/50Hz power outlet is sufficient for its installation. It uses a high-tech semiconductor sensor and electronic control system, allowing it to achieve a high detection rate at a relatively low price of the device. When the factory-set gas concentration < 10% LEL* is exceeded, optical and acoustic alarm signaling is activated. Such a solution increases the probability of protecting the user from the risk of poisoning or explosion of leaking gas. Natural gas is a colorless gas with a faint odor and lighter than air. When combined with oxygen in the air, it forms a flammable and explosive mixture.
The greatest danger is during a release from a tank or a leak in a gas stove - ignition can occur from appliances above, such as a light switch. Propane-butane (or LPG) in the gaseous state, unlike natural gas, is heavier than air, so it accumulates first in the lower parts of the premises, the other risks are very similar.*LEL (Lower Explosive Limit) - the lower explosive limit of gases
Example values of lower (LEL)* explosive limits of some gases:
Gas LEL*
Methane 5.00%
Propane 2.10%
Butane 1.80%
NOTE: Gas presence alarms, due to technical considerations (e.g., the possibility of periodic power outages or voltage changes in the network, equipment failure, etc.) and the specifics of the premises in which these devices can be installed, do not give absolute certainty of gas detection but only significantly increase the probability of earlier detection of its dangerous concentration. Hence, it should be remembered that these devices should be tested in accordance with the accompanying operating instructions, and periodic inspections of the condition of ventilation and chimney installations and appliances from which gas may leak.
