The result of our work are PSR-ECO series AC/DC power supplies, which are characterized by efficiency of up to 91% and the highest functionality and versatility of use in low-current installations. PSR-ECO power supplies are based on modern integrated voltage converters (SMPSSwitch Mode Power Supply). They are devoid of the elements that generate the highest energy losses: isolation transformer, low-voltage rectifier, low-voltage stabilizer. The power supply integrates three functions in one: regulated power supply, battery charger, 12V/DC or 24V/DC voltage UPS (see version).

2. Functions and parameters of the battery charger circuit.

• two-phase battery charging: constant-current and constant-voltage.
• auto-compensation of the charging voltage using a temp sensor. temperature compensation +/3.3 [mV/°C/cell] relative to the design temperature of 20 °C.
• electronic and autonomous protection: overload OCP, short-circuit SCP, undervoltage UVP and reverse battery polarity (RPP).
• dynamic test and diagnostics of the battery under load operation
• defective battery overcharging protection function: advanced algorithm for measuring the input load, if Qbat>Qmax and there is no constant-voltage charging mode, the power supply will turn off charging, issue a failure status but leave the battery as a backup power source.
• support for 12V lead-acid batteries (SLA or AGM): from 5Ah to 24Ah.

3. Power supply operation status (supervision) and system communication.

• design and functions according to PN-EN 50131-6, grade 2 or 3, power supply type A
• microprocessor-based diagnostics and control of the PSU's operation
• measurement of basic parameters of the power supply: voltages, currents, temperature
• testing and calibration of 100% of power supplies in the production process
