Electromagnetic contactors in modular housings for direct mounting on a 35 mm rail. An additional keypad on the front allows manual control of the contactor contacts (independent of the coil status) - this allows manual switching or disconnection of circuits, e.g. during installation/maintenance work.
Operation
Operation of the contactor depends on the setting of the mode switch:
"I" position (upper position)
If the contactor coil is not energized, the contactor contacts are closed. When the contactor is energized, the switch automatically switches to the "Auto" position, and from then on it
operates in automatic mode. To lock the contacts in the on position regardless of the power supply to the contactor, the yellow locking lever must be moved to the left in the "I" position.
"Auto" position (middle position)
Applying power turns the contactor on and closes the contacts. When the power is disconnected, the contactor is switched off and the contacts open.
Position "O" (lower position)
Contacts of the contactor remain open regardless of the presence of supply voltage.
