Operation of the astronomical clock:
The timer turns on and off the controlled electrical circuit at programmed times in an astronomical cycle, i.e. associated with the preset position of the sun relative to the horizon (e.g. east - west, dusk - dawn). A programmable night interval allows you to turn off the lighting, for example, in the middle of the night when it will no longer be needed. After connecting an external brightness sensor Sonda Plus, it is possible to correct, in a programmable way, the moment of switching on / off based on the actual lighting conditions (for example, on a cloudy day the light can be turned on earlier). An external pushbutton, connected to an astronomical clock with a night interval, makes it possible to temporarily interrupt program execution and manually control the receiver.
Functions of the astronomical timer PCZ-525.3 plus
- operation in automatic mode in astronomical cycle or in manual mode,
- possibility to connect an external brightness sensor to correct the timing of switching on and off based on actual lighting conditions,
- programming directly in the timer or remotely via the free PCZ Konfigurator mobile app (Android) using NFC wireless communication,
- precise calculation of the position of the sun and the associated correct moment of switching on and off thanks to the location set in the clock (predefined in the clock 86 locations in Poland and 1500 worldwide, the possibility of setting the location through the PCZ Konfigurator app using GPS or Google maps),
- predefined on/off points
- sunrise and sunset,
- sunrise and dawn,
- fixed on and off times,
- possibility to independently move the time of switching on and off in relation to sunset and sunrise,
- programmable night interruption,
- possibility to connect an external button for temporary interruption of the work program and manual control of the relay operation (the interruption will be in force until the next switching resulting from the automatic operation cycle),
- backlit display with programmable brightness level and contrast,
- built-in, replaceable battery to maintain the clock settings in case of power failure, and a battery charge indicator to indicate when the battery needs to be replaced,
- automatic switching between summer and winter time,
- relay status memory - in manual mode, the relay status will be restored after a power outage and return.
