Electronic current relay EPP-618 F&F
Product description
Thanks to the applied digital display, we can continuously read the value of the current in the measured circuit and precisely program the values of the parameters according to which it will work.
Operation
The relay is designed to work with a current transformer with a secondary current of 5 A. Or without a current transformer, except that then its maximum current is 50 A. The relay works according to one of 4 operation functions: F1, F2, F3 and F4.
Function F1
If the current in the measuring circuit exceeds the set value Hi, the relay contacts 7-8 will be connected, and contacts 9-10 - disconnected. If the current in the measuring circuit is less than the set value minus the hysteresis value, the relay contacts will return to their original position. The timing of relay switching on and off can be further adjusted in the range of 0.5÷10 s.
Function F2
When the current drops below the set Lo value, relay contacts 7-8 will be connected, and contacts 9-10 - disconnected. If the current in the measuring circuit is greater than the set value plus the hysteresis value, the relay contacts will return to the original position. The timing of relay switching on and off can be further adjusted in the range of 0.5÷10 s.
Function F3
If the current in the measuring circuit exceeds the set value Hi, the relay contacts 7-8 will be connected and contacts 9-10 will be disconnected. The relay contacts in this function will return to their original position only when the current value is lower than the Lo value. In this function, current settings are not adjusted by the value of hysteresis. The timing of relay energizing and de-energizing can be additionally corrected in the range of 0.5÷10 s.
Function F4
In this function the relay works in the so-called "measurement window". The relay will be switched on if the current in the measuring circuit is higher than the set value Hi. The relay contacts will return to their original position if the current falls below the setpoint minus the hysteresis value. But the relay will also be switched on if the current value is below the Lo setpoint. In this case, the relay will be switched off if the current value in the measuring circuit increases above the Lo setpoint value plus the hysteresis value.
We can additionally correct the moment of switching on and off by setting the time tON or tOFF.
