Lighting dimmer for high power consumers 230V SCO-816 F&F

Purpose
Universal dimmer SCO-816 is designed to regulate the brightness of dimmable high-power sources, such as: incandescent and halogen lamps, toroidal transformers and adjustable electronic transformers, dimmable LED bulbs and dimmable energy-saving LED lamps.

Operation
Lighting is switched on by a pulse of current caused by a momentary press of the button. Another short press of the button turns off the light. A long press of the button brightens/dimmers the light. The dimmer is equipped with a memory function - subsequent switching on by briefly pressing the button will restore the last set brightness level.
Thanks to the function of switching at zero supply voltage, the sudden current surge created when switching on capacitive consumers is reduced, which prevents overloading the installation. Built-in dual overcurrent protection (high-speed electronic fuse and fusible link fuse) increases the safety of the device's operation in case of output overload. The built-in fan, together with a temperature control system, prevents the unit from excessive temperature rise. If the alarm temperature is exceeded, the load will be automatically disconnected.
If the thermal or overload protection is triggered, the light will be automatically switched off. Re-energizing is possible after the cause of the failure ceases and the button is pressed again.

The SCO-816 dimmer is additionally equipped with:
- soft on/off lighting function;
- thermal protection;
- current overload control;
- built-in 20 A delayed fuse;
- possibility to connect ON/OFF button controlled by 230 V AC mains voltage or low DC voltage.

NOTE!
The actual load limit will depend on the ambient temperature.
If the operating temperature exceeds the limit value, the value of the permissible
load is reduced.

Load

3500W - resistive load: incandescent and halogen lamps.
2300W - inductive and capacitive load: toroidal transformers, adjustable electronic transformers, dimmable LED and ESL bulbs.
