Microwave motion sensor with presence sensor function 360° IP20 white DRM-08 F&F
Product description
The DRM-08microwave motion sensor can be used as a presence sensor.
How does the DRM-08 motion sensor work?
The motion sensor can work indoors. The microwave sensor detects motion through wood panels, drywall, glass and plastics. Temperature changes do not affect its operation, as is the case with passive sensors.
Operation
The DRM-08 microwave motion sensor emits and receives high-frequency 5.8 Ghz electromagnetic waves. It detects changes in wave reflection caused by the movement of an object within the range of the motion sensor. The sensor detects the movement of an object to and from the sensor. Movement within the area of operation automatically turns on the lighting. From the moment it is switched on, continuous motion causes this lighting to be permanently switched on. Only the absence of motion in the detection field triggers the lighting's holding time. Movement in the detection field again and its disappearance during the timer will trigger the holding time from the beginning. The nature of the operation allows the DRM-08 microwave motion sensor to be used as a presence sensor.
After the preset time, the lighting will be switched off automatically. Microwave motion sensor DRM-08 is equipped with a twilight automatic that prevents the controlled lighting from being switched on during the day. The detection status and readiness to switch on the lighting are activated only after dusk. The activation time of the DRM-08 microwave motion sensor can be adjusted by the user with a potentiometer. In addition, it is possible to adjust the area of the detection field within a radius of 1÷8 m (for h=2÷6 m) and to adjust the receiver's activation time within a range of 10s÷12 min.
NOTE!
Microwave radiation power is relatively low and is completely safe for humans and animals. Its value is less than 0.2 mW. For comparison, a microwave oven and a cell phone radiate with a power of about 1000 mW.
