Energy consumption meter 3-phase remote reading LE-03M CT F&F
Product description
LE-03M CT is a static (electronic) calibrated meter for three-phase AC electricity measured in a semi-direct system.
The indicator is designed to work with current transformers with a primary current Ip of 5÷6000 A and a secondary current of 5 A. The maximum measured current of the system is determined by the value of the primary current Ip of the applied current transformer. The user can set the value of the ratio of the applied transformers in the indicator, which allows to indicate the actual value of the electricity consumed by the system.
The RS-485 serial port and the implemented MODBUS RTU communication protocol allow the indicator to be used in remote data reading networks.
Operation
A special electronic circuit under the influence of the flowing current and applied voltage in each phase generates pulses in an amount proportional to the consumed electricity in that phase. Energy consumption in a phase is indicated by flashing of the corresponding LED (L1, L2, L3). The sum of pulses from three phases signaled by flashing LED imp/kWh is converted into energy consumed in the entire three-phase system, and its value is indicated by the segmented LCD display.
In the indicator's memory, the values of primary currents Ip of possible transformers are stored. Selection of the appropriate value in accordance with the values of the connected transformers causes automatic setting of the appropriate coefficient, according to which the real value of the consumed electricity of the system is calculated. This value is projected on the LCD display in a format depending on the selected transformer.
Values of currents Ip of transformers entered in the memory of the indicator:
5, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 75, 80, 100, 120, 150, 200, 250, 300, 400, 500, 600, 750, 800, 1000, 1200, 1250, 1500, 2000, 2500, 3000, 4000, 5000, 6000.
Note!
Meter connection of pulse meter reading (SO) generated pulses by the meter. It is not required to connect an additional device for the correct operation of the electricity consumption meter. The impulse constant of the meter is 12000imp/kWh for the maximum value of the input current of the meter, that is, the secondary current of the transformer (5A). When using dedicated transformers, the number of pulses per 1kWh is calculated from the formula (12000 × 5)/Ip, where:
Ip - the primary current of the transformers used.
Example:
for a 5/5 A transformer (Ip=5): (12000×5)/5=12000 imp/kWh
for a 100/5 A transformer (Ip=100): (12000×5)/100=600 imp/kWh
Note:
The meter has the ability to seal the input and output terminal covers to prevent making a meter bypass.
