MST is used to reduce the inrush current of halogen lamps. This prevents overuse of connected lamps, in effect prolonging their life.

Operation:
When the power is switched on, the controller does not allow the lighting to immediately switch on to full power. Initially, the lamp system is powered by an internal current-limiting thermistor circuit. After a time of 1sec, the system permanently turns on the contact, through which it passes the full load of receivers.
NOTE!
No effect of gradual illumination of lamps.
