Product description
The CP-721 voltage relay is used to control the voltage of a single-phase network and protect a single-phase load from the effects of voltage increases or decreases beyond the set values.

Operation
In operating mode, the display shows the value of the currently measured voltage.
User-settable lower (UL) and upper (UH) voltage thresholds determine the so-called voltage window, within which changes in the supply voltage may occur without tripping the relay. At the correct supply voltage, the relay contact remains closed. A change in supply voltage above or below the set voltage thresholds will open the contact with a user-set time delay. The illumination of the red LED indicates the closed state of the contact. Voltage exceeding 5V from the set values of UH and UL thresholds is signaled by pulsation of the values shown on the display.
Reconnection of the relay contact will take place automatically in case of a permanent voltage value of 5 V in relation to the set threshold values UH and UL for a return time set by the user.
The relay can be energized up to 450 V~. This allows effective protection of the load even when the voltage rises above the permissible standards.The device is protected against the change of polarity of the power supply - this will not damage ("burn") the relay.
