Energy consumption meter 3-phase LE-02d CT F&F
Product description
LE-02 CT is a static (electronic) calibrated three-phase AC power indicator in a semi-direct system.
The electricity indicator is designed to work with current transformers with a primary current Ip of 5÷6000A and a secondary current of 5 A. The maximum measured current of the system is determined by the value of the primary current Ip of the applied current transformer. The user can set the value of the ratio of the applied transformers in the indicator, which allows to indicate the actual value of the electricity consumed by the system.
Operation
A special electronic circuit under the influence of the flowing current and applied voltage in each phase generates pulses in an amount proportional to the consumed electricity in that phase. Energy consumption in a phase is indicated by flashing of the corresponding LED (L1, L2, L3). The sum of the pulses from the three phases signaled by the blinking of the LED is converted into energy consumed in the entire three-phase system, and its value is indicated by the segmented LCD display.
In the indicator's memory, the values of primary currents Ip of possible transformers are stored. Selecting the appropriate value in accordance with the values of the connected transformers automatically sets the correct coefficient, according to which the real value of the consumed electricity of the system is calculated. The LCD display shows the actual value of consumed energy in a format depending on the selected transformer.
SO pulse output
The electricity consumption indicator has a pulse output SO+ - SO-. This allows the connection of a pulse meter reading (SO) the pulses generated by the meter. It is not required to connect an additional device for proper operation of the indicator. The impulse constant of the meter is 12000imp/kWh for the maximum value of the input current of the meter, that is, the secondary current of the transformer (5A). When using dedicated transformers, the number of pulses per 1kWh is calculated from the formula (12000 × 5)/Ip, where:
Ip - the primary current of the used transformers.
Example:
for a 5/5 A transformer (Ip=5): (12000×5)/5=12000 imp/kWh
for a 100/5 A transformer (Ip=100): (12000×5)/100=600 imp/kWh
Programming
Transformer programmable by a button located under the lower terminal cover of the meter.
NOTE: For safety reasons of data registration, the operation of setting the transmission ratio can be done only once.
Values of currents Ip of transformers entered in the memory of the indicator:
5, 25, 40, 50, 60, 75, 80, 100, 120, 150, 200, 250, 300, 400, 500, 600, 800, 1000, 1200, 1500, 1600, 2000, 2500, 3000, 4000, 5000, 6000.
Another press of the programming button jumps to the next value.
After jumping to the desired value to confirm the selected value, hold the button >30s.
