STR-2 roller shutter controller
STR-2
The STR-2 controller is designed to control roller blinds (up and down) or other objects (e.g. gates) driven by an electric, single-phase AC motor using momentary (e.g. bell) switches.
The controller can operate as a standalone device (designed to open/close one roller shutter), as well as it is possible to combine controllers into groups enabling central control of multiple roller shutters.
Operation
Power supply of the controller is signaled by the lighting of the green U LED. The roller shutter motor is activated by momentarily applying voltage (L or N) to one of the control inputs. The motor is switched on for the time programmed earlier by the user, allowing the roller shutter to be fully raised or lowered. It is possible to stop the running roller shutter at a level selected by the user (incomplete opening or closing of the shutter).
Control inputs of the controller
Local control - a button connected to terminal 5 controlling one roller shutter.
- up (opening) / down (closing)
When the local button is pressed, the roller shutter is switched on for movement in the direction opposite to the last movement (after the controller is connected to the power supply, the first movement closes the roller shutter). If the roller shutter is already in motion, pressing the local control button will stop the roller shutter. Pressing the local button again causes the roller shutter to move in the opposite direction.
Central control - common to multiple controllers (minimum two) a group of buttons connected to terminals 7 and 8 controlling all roller shutters that are in the central control system.
- all up; - all down
Pressing the central control button activates the roller shutters for movement in the set direction. If one of the roller shutters is already performing movement in the same direction, it will continue. If it performs movement in the opposite direction, the roller shutter will first be stopped and then switched on in the direction resulting from the command given to the central input.
NOTE!
Central control only allows you to switch on the roller shutters for movement in the selected direction. The roller shutter will be stopped only after the programmed time has elapsed, or after pressing any local control button.
