No need to wait. Philips LED light sources provide maximum brightness immediately when turned on.
The color rendering index (CRI) describes the effect of a light source on the appearance of colors. The CRI of natural light outdoors is 100 - the standard against which we compare all other light sources. The CRI of Philips LED light sources is always higher than 80, which is close to the value that sunlight has, so LED light sources faithfully and naturally render colors.
Light can have different color temperatures denoted by units called kelvins (K). Light sources with a low kelvin value provide a warm, more cozy light, while light sources with a high kelvin value give a cool, more stimulating light.
