Product description
Sequential, pulse-time, 4-channel controller.
The PCS-534 programmer is designed for automation systems where there is a need for simultaneous control of a group of receivers in a fixed ON/OFF combination forced by successive impulses given manually or automatically to the control input or according to time intervals between successive switching.
Operation
The sequential relay has 4 separate outputs OUT1-4 and 4 independent signal inputs IN1-4. The closed/open contact arrangement is set sequentially according to the preset program. Switching of the contacts to the next state takes place after the next pulse on the control input or automatically, according to the time schedule.
The contact sequences, time schedule and operation options are set using a PC configuration program. Connection to the controller via USB cable.
Operation modes:
Impulse - programmed contact sequences are executed after successive pulses of control input IN1. The first pulse switches from a sequence of 0 to a sequence of 1 and then to the next after the next pulses. After executing the last sequence, the relay executes the program from sequence 0 or 1 for the autostart option;
Timed - the switching of contacts is carried out automatically according to the time schedule. A pulse at the IN1 input switches from sequence 0 to sequence 1 and continues switching automatically after the set time. After executing the last sequence, the relay returns to sequence 0 and waits for a control impulse at the IN1 input or continues to execute the program from sequence 1 (autostart option).
Sequence 0 - the output state of the contacts (0000) after power on (fixed option, not changed by the user).
Additional options:
Autostart - self-start operation option. In pulse mode, this is an automatic transition to sequence 1 after power on. In timed mode, it is an automatic start according to a time schedule.
Input functions:
IN1 - "start":
- impulse: application of a pulse causes the contacts to switch to the next state.
- timed: giving a pulse causes the start of the time schedule.
IN2 - "pause"
- pulsed: blocks switching to the next sequence despite consecutive pulses on IN1.
- timed: stops the time counted down to switch to the next state.
IN3 - "continue"
- impulse: restores response to IN1 input pulses.
- timed: continues the countdown of time in the stopped sequence.
IN4 - "reset"
- impulsive: immediately stops the executed program and returns to sequence 0 and waits for restart. In the autostart option it executes the program from sequence 1.
- timed: immediately stops the executed program and returns to sequence 0 and waits for the start signal on IN1. In the autostart option it executes the program from sequence 1.
